SRA/STA JOINT SEMINAR UPDATES:
If you are flying in for the SRA/STA Joint Seminar and would like to get on the list for a ride from the airport to the hotel, please let Ill Sir KC Cook know if you need at your earliest convenience. You can send this information to kfcook422@gmail.com or contact him at 806-433-0597. Currently, the plan is to have shuttles running throughout the day. If you do not want to wait, UBER is available also and is not too expensive.
We have nearly 90 Recorders registered for this event, which is amazing. You can find an agenda for the day by going to the "Important Documents Tab" above and downloading it.
The Lady's Outing sounds like it will be wonderful. The schedule is to depart the hotel at 10:00 a.m. and head to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. There is a beautiful overlook of the second largest canyon in the US along with a visitors' center and gift shop. The ladies will depart around noon to head to Creek House Honey Farm a few miles away. There they will have a light lunch and if they would like, be table to taste some of the meads they bottle at the farm (these are fermented honey and like a sweet wine with various flavors). The ladies will return no later than 3 that afternoon to be able to rest a bit and get ready for the banquet that night.
ANNUAL MEETING UPDATES:
Plans for the annual meeting will be discussed in depth during the upcoming seminar. Currently, we are planning on having it the morning of July 12, 2026, with the location to be determined. There are still many things in the air about the session, so please aware things may change.
